Things to Do and See While Staying at Humble Bee Farm

Scarborough’s new Light Festival also takes in the run up to Christmas.
Filey Fishtive Tree – Fileys Giant Fishtive Tree on coble landing is made out of lobster/crab pots and all things fishy built by the town’s businessmen to celebrate the towns heritage, with decorations provided by filey school children and youth groups. A must see if you are visiting this time of year!
Local Theatres
Other local venues that offer a mix of entertainment include Scarborough Spa, the Scarborough YMCA and the Stephen Joseph Theatre.

Themed Events
Discover Scarborough Lights, Yorkshire newest light festival.
This new event will start on 15th November and will last until 23rd December 2023.
It will include a drone display over Scarborough Castle on 18th November; a Winter Lights trail around Peasholm Park, 15th November to 23rd December and much more.

Scarborough Pride takeds place on 30th Septmeber.
Scarborough Surf Festival takes place in late September.
Whitby
With its Abbey, Dracula connection and its stunning scenery, Whitby is well worth a visit.
The Abbey will host its illuminated buildings event in the October Half Term.
Filey
Filey is also becoming very well known for its Food Festivals, which take place several times a year.
The next dates are October 14th and 15th 2023.
East Yorkshire … A Whole County To Enjoy!
Just a few miles down the road, you will find yourself in another county, East Yorkshire, home to Beverley, Driffield, Hull and other towns.
Flamborough is also close by where you can explore the stunning Lighthouse.
Sledmere House is a short drive away.
Burton Agnes is also close by with a history dating back to the 12th Century.
Burton Constable is another stunning country house which has welcomed the 21st Century with its popular outdoor cinema showing family favourites and box office hits.
