After a busy summer, we’re putting on some awesome events to celebrate the arrival of Autumn 2017!

Friday 29th and Saturday 30th September - Conservation Weekend

A wonderful opportunity to help nature thrive on our working farm. Join us to make bird feeders, play wildlife games and look after the hedge we planted in the winter. Event takes place at various times on Saturday 30th September.

Friday 6th and Saturday 7th October - Superheroes Weekend*

Design your own superhero character, create masks and superhero shields. Games including an obstacle course, dance and fancy dress parade. *Event subject to minimum numbers, pre-booking essential, £12 per child. Event takes place on Saturday 7th October, 10am to 1pm.

Friday 20th and Saturday 21st October - Halloween Weekend*

Including Creepy Crawly event, free to join, from 9.30am prompt. Join our nature experts for a trip into the world of mini-beasts!

Prepare for lots of fun at Humble Bee! Including traditional games, fancy dress, pumpkin carving, spooky fun in the barn, Halloween disco and a Story Time with Winnie the Witch. Event takes place on Saturday 21st October from 6pm. Family ticket £12 tariff applies*.

Friday 27th and Saturday 28th October - Stargazing Weekend*

See planets, stars and galaxies at Humble Bee Farm’s annual Stargazing Event, in conjunction with Scarborough and Ryedale Astronomical Society. And if the skies are cloudy, then don’t worry, as we have a trick up our sleeve! There is usually a small fee charged which goes towards the astronomical society.

Book your Running Water Deluxe Wigwam, Big Chief Wigwam or Yurt and to take part.

And why not grab the opportunity to try some new experiences, including:

Bee Keeping – find out about local bees, hives and how honey is made. More details soon!

Clay Pigeon Shooting at Cottondale  – take aim, pull and fire – a great way to improve your accuracy skills.

Fresh Water Fishing at Wykeham Lakes – Trout, Coarse and Predator Lakes full of fish on a local estate.
