Insects and bugs will be delighted at the brand new Bug Hotel, the latest 'holiday accommodation' at Humble Bee Farm!

The Conservation event, which took place during February's half term, was very well attended and all guests were as busy as bees building this new addtion to Humble Bee Farm.

Lead by Richard Baines and Margaret Boyd of Yorkshire Coast Nature, the young conservationists were kept hard at work building an impressive Bug Hotel, so the farm's wildlife can continue to flourish.

Margaret said: "We had a busy day constructing the bug hotel and we also found some owl pellets, showing that the owl population around Humble Bee and the Yorkshire Wolds is healthy."

Yorkshire Coast Nature co-hosts Humble Bee's Nature Events from February to October, which guests can attend when they book accommodation at the farm.
