Conservation day Saturday 29th September 10am - 12pm

Humble Bee Farm prides itself on providing the best habitats for local wildlife. Join our conservation team to add to the biodiversity on the farm by creating new habitats around the site.

In spring 2018, families helped build a great bug hotel which has been invaded by all sorts of minibeasts so we are planning to create another of these fantastic habitat houses on the farm.

We need all hands on deck to get it up and running, then there's a chance for some minibeast themed activities too!

New for September 2018, as hedgehogs are hitting the conservation headlines, we’re also installing some hedgehog ‘houses’ here at Humble Bee!

Our spikey little friends need to have somewhere safe to hibernate for the winter, so during our Conservation Event, let’s help make hedgehogs feel at home here at the place to be.

Our band of conservationists will be placing them at special locations here at Humble Bee Farm.

This is a wonderful opportunity to help nature on the farm. Join us to make bird feeders, play wildlife games, help the hedgehogs and look after the hedge we planted in the winter.

Autumn watch Saturday 13th October 10am -12pm

For Springwatch at Humble Bee farm we saw some budding television presenters as families found out all about some of the farm's wildlife. In autumn animals around the site are preparing for winter so with a bit of detective work, research skills and presenting talent Humble Bee farm will be presenting our very own version of the popular BBC Autumnwatch. We need some presenting talent and we could be looking at the next David Attenborough! This is your chance to spotlight the fantastic wildlife on the farm and shine yourself too!
