February Half Term things to do!

February can be fabulous for families!

Here at Humble Bee Farm we are looking forward to families joining us for half term and beyond.

We are close to the beaches of Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington.

The North York Moors National Park is also a short drive away.

The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is one of the UK’s best known heritage railways so you can hop on board soon!

Eden Camp.

This world famous museum is a must for history fans.

Flamingo Land is also close by so it’s worth checking their website to see what’s on at the popular location

Castle Howard is near Malton and is open for Half Term.

Burton Agnes is in East Yorkshire and is about 20 to 30 minutes from Humble Bee Farm.

They host their Snowdrop Experience in February each year, more info here.

In nearby Scarborough, the Alpamare is well worth a visit.

It is located in Scarborough’s North Bay close to the North Bay Railway and Open Air Theatre.

Places to visit which are also an attraction in themselves include the Harbour Bar near Scarborough Harbour.

Filey is about six miles from Humble Bee Farm, a traditional seaside resort including a wonderful beach, Filey Brigg, play areas, the Esplanade, and more.

On Shrove Tuesday, which this year falls on 17th February, the tradition of seaside skipping takes place in the South Bay, Scarborough.

Otherwise known as Pancake Day, pancake races also take place in Aberdeen Walk, in the town centre from 12noon, subject to weather conditions.

Bridlington is a stunning location with its bustling harbour, busy town centre and the historic Old Town.

The East Riding Leisure Centre is an excellent place to visit during the half term.
