Farmer Percy is busy on the farm getting ready for spring!
His flock of sheep, most of which are in lamb, are still enjoying the great outdoors until they trot down the farm tracks to the comfy barn ready for lambing season.
It’s one of our favourite times of year and we have our lambing weekends taken place on 8th, 15th and 22nd March, along with our Open Day on Sunday 24th March.
Farmer Percy has been out with his tractor and roller flattening off the grass ready for the new season and using fertiliser in his fields where needed.
The cows are already in the barns for the winter and this week, two gorgeous calves made their way into the world.
They soon had their ear tags attached so we know which calf belong to which cow and there’s no mix ups.
We’ll keep you updated as to Farmer Percy’s exploits soon!
