Margaret Boyd will be hosting our Nature events for 2022 down on the farm during the summer months! We cant wait to welcome you all and thought you might like to know a bit about Margaret!
“As a keen birder, naturalist and qualified teacher I manage to combine my passions; spending most of my time outside, inspiring and enthusing people about the natural world. During the week I work as a teacher at Yorkshire Water’s nature reserve, Tophill Low, which is near Driffield. I run both the school’s programme and the family events working with people of all ages and abilities; whether it is for an A’Level project, a walking group or a class of primary school children carrying out pond dipping. Alongside my part time teaching role, I am also a wildlife guide and bird surveyor, guiding visitors to experience the wealth of wildlife that calls the moors, forests and coastline of Yorkshire its home.”
Our annual events calendar is designed to help our guests get to grips with nature, the farming year and also have lots of fun.

Explore the wildlife on the farm, hunt for pieces of nature and learn all about them! Play games and spot lots of local wildlife!

From 5:30pm to 7:30pm, booking essential ticket price – £15 per family ( up to 2 adults 3 children max).

As the colours of autumn descend on the farm find out from our local wildlife expert where all the animals are and how they are preparing for the colder winter months. Make your very own autumnal picture full of the magnificent colours from the natural world, using all natural items.
September 17th 2022 at 10am, booking essential, ticket costs £15 per family (2 adults 3 children max).
Humble Bee Farm and Wold Top Brewery – Beer Night
Saturday 24th September 2022 from 6pm
Tickets available at £18.00 per person
Ticket price includes a bottle of Wold Top beer, a branded pint glass, two samples and an antipasti board to enjoy consisting of pork pie, a selection of meats, cheeses, olives and bread.
Relax at the Place to Bee with the help of Wold Top Brewery for some ‘beer in the barn’!
Enjoy an evening of Gintastic Gin tasting and delicious Humble Bee food.
Humble Bee Farm and Raisthorpe Distillery are working together to offer you an evening of gin tasting, fun and food with five different gins and tonics to try.
Tickets are £26.00 per person, and the ticket price includes 5 gin tasting samples, and an antipasti board to enjoy consisting of a selection of meats, cheeses, olives and bread.

Come and join us at the farm to pick a pumpkin, carve it, and then take an exciting walk around our Halloween Nature Trail.
