VE Day 75th Anniversary – Special Event

Commemorate the 75th Anniversary of VE Day.

This day is so special that the Bank Holiday date have been moved to Friday 8th May in honour of this special occasion.

Victory in Europe took place on 8th May 1945. This significant date marked the of World War Two on the European continent.

In honour of this truly special occasion, we are hosting a special VE Day 75 event.

The bank holiday weekend, starting Friday 8th May, will feature commemorations up and down the country and Humble Bee Farm will be joining in the celebrations.

ON Saturday 9th May, from 4pm-6pm, our VE Day Celebrations take with Magical Quest North and this event is open to the public. Come and join us for a family friendly trip back in time to a traditional 1940s celebration of the 75th anniversary of VE Day. There will be Dads’ Army fun training, traditional 1940 dance training in the music hall, a chance to Dig for Victory and get yourself styled for the 1940s! Suitable for all ages. £15 per family pass, accommodation can be booked separately. Please come to this event in 1940’s themed outfits! We will be hosting a fancy dress competition and would love everyone to take part! Thank you!
