Back by popular demand – Giant Games in the Barn!
Our Giant Games in the Barn is BACK for 2024!
This popular event, which is free to attend in 2024, is a perfect way to while away the early evening here at Humble Bee.
It keeps the kids and parents entertained with traditional games but on a giant scale.
The fun starts at 4.30pm when the barn doors open and there is a warm welcome.
The barn closes at 6.30pm, last entry is 6.15pm, thank you.
This is a FREE event for guests staying onsite this Summer.
It will take place on Saturday and Monday evening during the main school Summer holidays 2024.
The return of last year’s favourites include:
Giant Snakes and Ladders
Giant Draughts
Giant Jenga
Giant Dominoes (not, not the pizzas!)
Giant Connect 4
Giant Twister
Tin Can Alley
Bean Bags and Target
Skittles
Noughts and Crosses
And more, including normal size board games which guests can borrow.
There are plenty of mats to sit on, some benches and corn sacks to use for seating.
There are a couple of picnic tables for parents and families to use for board games and for eating delicious Hive food and drink (no glass permitted, thank you).
There is a pooch bench as dogs are not permitted in the Giant Games area, thank you.
New for 2024 – Our Toddler Area
This year we are introducing our toddler area, which includes table and chairs, colouring, a ride-on toy or two, magic tiles, a couple of small rocking horses and a fun sandpit.
This area is perfect for smaller children with parents in tow!
A member of staff is on duty during the event.
