Humble Bee Farm and Mindfulness

Humble Bee Farm is a place for peaceful breaks, mindful activities and a relaxing atmosphere.

If you enjoy being ‘in the moment’ and absorbing the beautiful natural world around you, then Humble Bee is for you

Whether you’re travelling solo, with a partner, friends or family, our cabins and yurts provide comfortable glamping accommodation on our working farm.

Mindfulness in Nature

While we are a family friendly site, particularly at weekends, we also have midweek availability.

With good facilities, you can book your break with us here in the Yorkshire Wolds

Our site is surrounded by pastures and fields, in which we grow crops.

We also have sheep, alpacas, goats, hens, ducks and more.

Reflection Garden

As we nestle in a peaceful valley, our Reflection Garden is situated half way down the site and attracts all sorts of insects, butterflies and birds.

This garden was opened in 2021 during the Pandemic and has truly grown into itself.  There is also a seating area if you wish to meditate.

Immerse Yourself in Nature

Our working farm is located near Flixton between Filey and Scarborough.

The farm has been passed down the generations and has become a haven for wildlife.

If you take a peaceful walk on any one of our three farm walks, you will see and hear so many different sounds.

From the cry of the curlew to the song of the skylark, our fields also attract grouse, corn buntings, sparrows, kestrels, barn owls and blackbirds.

Spend Time in Reflection Garden

Our reflection garden is placed in the centre of the site, near the toilet and shower block.

Established in 2021, this peaceful spot is a haven for quiet thought and contemplation , partciuarly in the evening or elary morning.

The talents of Paul Taylor, our landscape gardener, is now visible with a beautiful blend of flowers, foliage, insects and more.

There are some giant chairs to sit in along with a timber bench made from left over wood.

For regular guests, the Reflection Garden now stands where the children’s play area used to be. We’ve moved this facility to the bottom of the site.
