Step into the magic of spring as you join Farmer Percy in the Lambing Barn at 10am for our seasonal lambing experience — a heart-warming glimpse into one of the busiest and most beautiful moments of the farming year.

 What Awaits You

• A chance to bottle-feed or gently hold a lamb — a moment you’ll treasure

• Wander through the Maternity Ward and meet our expectant ewes

• If luck is on your side, you may even witness a lamb being born

• Meet Farmer Percy, along with his loyal sheepdogs, Alfie & Madge

• Capture the magic with a photo keepsake featuring one of our sweet lambs

• Follow our Sheep Trail around the farm to uncover a secret word

• Say hello to the whole Farmyard Gang, including Tilly the Pony, donkeys, hens, our guinea pigs, goats, and alpacas

• Enjoy our informative Q&A session with Farmer Percy!

• The Lambing Barn is open daily for guests wishing to enjoy a peaceful moment with the flock — but don’t miss Farmer Percy’s Saturday session at 10am! The Barn is closed Sunday for our public event

• Visit The Hive for warm drinks and light bites to complete your morning

Booking Information

This enchanting experience is free when you book holiday accommodation for the corresponding dates (subject to availability).
Please arrive in time for the 10am start on the Saturday of your stay — the session lasts approximately 1 hour.

•  Friday & Saturday 5th & 6th March 2027 (lambing event takes place 10am Saturday)

•  Friday & Saturday 12th & 13th March 2027 (lambing event takes place 10am Saturday)

•  Friday & Saturday 19th & 20th March 2027 (lambing event takes place 10am Saturday)

•  Friday & Saturday 26th & 27th March 2027 (lambing event takes place 10am Saturday)

•  Friday & Saturday 2nd & 3rd April 2027 (lambing event takes place 10am Saturday)

• Lambing Barn closed on Sundays due to public sessions taking place

• Useful Information

  • Pregnant women are advised not to enter the lambing area, thank you.

  • The event is pram-friendly.

  • Only a short walk from the main car park to the Lambing Barn — with disabled parking available closer by.

  • In the event of severe weather, sessions may be cancelled.

  • Do – wash hands well with soap and water after animal contact, or wear protective gloves
  • Do – wash hands after removing footwear and clothing
  • Do – supervise children at all times and supervise thorough handwashing
  • Do – stay in designated areas and paths and trails
  • Do – contact your GP or NHS 111 as soon as possible if you feel unwell
  • Do NOT – put hands near faces of mouths
  • Do NOT – kiss the animals or allow close face contact
  • Do NOT – eat or drink in the animal areas (including sweets and chewing gum)
  • Do NOT – eat food that has fallen on the ground
  • Do NOT – bring dogs into the lambing areas
