Easter at Humble Bee Farm

Humble Bee Farm is always buzzing with excitement when Easter comes around.

This year, with its early April dates, we are ready for a truly ‘egg-citing’ time!

We are looking forward to our Mr Bubbles Easter Party along with other things.

Our Favourite Time of Year

Easter is one of our favourite times of year.

Spring flowers show their faces and we’re hoping for some warmer weather by then!

Our accommodation is fully open, including yurts, cabins, lodges, cottages and bell tents.

We also have a small campsite including grass non-ehu pitches and two electric pitches (for tourers, motorhomes or campervans).

What’s Happening at Humble Bee Farm?

For the Easter weekend, we’ve got our Mr Bubbles Easter Party on Sunday 9th April (for onsite guests with pre-booked tickets only).

Taking place from 2.30pm to 5.30pm, this exciting event includes a fun magic show, balloon modelling, music and face painting!

The event will take place in the barn, and don’t forget to call at The Hive Café Bar for tasty light snacks, hot drinks and more.

Farmer Percy & Mini Farmer Club

If all goes to plan Farmer Percy will also be doing his daily rounds at 9am each morning.

He’ll check the chucks, feed the animals, check on the lambing situation and will be on hand to explain how busy the farming day can be.

Sometimes his daughter and granddaughter will also help out!

The Farmyard Gang

Humble Bee’s farmyard gang will be ready for our Easter guests.

Lambing will be well under way and our donkeys Daisy and Jessica, and Tilly, our Shetland Pony, will be looking forward to seeing everyone, particularly if they bring carrots …

Ask at reception about possible Tilly walks, as sometimes she’s up for a little walkabout.

We’ve also got our alpacas, so make sure you pop along to say hello.

Our guinea pigs will squeak in delight when they see you and our goats are always curious to see who’s staying with us.

We’ve also got our ducks and our chucks who are always quaking or clucking about here at Humble Bee Farm.

Farm Walks

Our farm walks are perfect for stretching the legs after eating too many Easter Eggs!

We have three to choose from: Piggy Back, Staxton Wold and Merry Dale.

You will need proper footwear and clothing as we’re in the Yorkshire Wolds and the weather can be unpredictable.

Farm Facilities

Humble Bee Farm is very proud of its facilities which include two shower and toilet blocks, a small onsite wash up area, the Reflection Garden, the Smokehouse BBQ Hut (pre-bookings only), our onsite shop, reception and of course the Hive Café Bar.

Other fun things include our duck pond, our outdoor play area and our sports field.

Check out our interactive signs on Piggy Back Walk, and learn about the changing seasons on the farm.

Our indoor play barn is available at selected times.

What Is There To Do In The Area?

Humble Bee Farm is very blessed with its location, just a few miles from the Yorkshire Coast.

There are so many attractions in the area, we’ve put together a special list of places to visit so you can make the most of your staycation.

From steam trains to animal parks, you’ve got lots to choose from!
