Our four nomadic yurts are spacious, fun and comfortable with their circular canvas shape and outdoor eating area.
Each yurt is warm and cosy inside and is spacious enough for up to 2 adults and 2 children.
The yurts are in the heart of our glamping site on our working farm in the Yorkshire Wolds.
Sorry no dogs allowed in the yurts, so its suitable for anyone who perhaps has a pet hair allergy.
Humble Bee Farm include dog-friendly accommodation including cabins, lodges and cottages.
Down on the Farm
As part of your stay, you can also join Farmer Percy on his rounds at 9am each day.
Meet the chickens, donkeys, alpacas, Tilly the Shetland Pony, goats and more!
You can also see our ducks which have their own duckpond here at Humble Bee.
For some indoor fun we have the Mini Bees Play Barn which is open from May to late Summer.
The Play Barn includes decorated hay bales and mini tractors which younger children can ride on and pretend to be the next Farmer Percy!
Then for some outdoor play we have the Honey Pot Play Area complete with brand new play apparatus for 2025.
These include a clatter bridge, stepping stones, balance beam and lots more!
Our football field is perfect for a kick-around so the kids (and grownups) can gets lots of fresh air ahead of a good night’s sleep.
Inside the Yurts
Each yurt has colour co-ordinated soft furnishings that capture the theme of the farm in the heart of Humble Bee Farm.
Each yurt also includes a bedside cabinet with a lamp and a wicker storage box at the foot of the bed.
Then for relaxing on there is a spacious futon with soft covers and cushions.
This makes up to two children’s beds (you will need to bring children’s bedding).
To help keep you snug and warm there is a wood-burning stove and a fireguard along with fireside utensils.
For food preparation there is a fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave; you will need to bring cutlery, crockery and glassware.
There is a double bed provided with double bedding, throws and cushions provided.
Each yurt is also carpeted throughout and has a sturdy lockable door, along with a star gazer window.
Guests are advsised to bring additional throws, blankets or similar during the colder weather.
What to Bring
Items you will need to bring include cutlery, crockery, pans, glassware, toiletries, clothing, all towels, washing up items and bedding for the futons.
Providing enough notice is given, you can order addtional extras from us here at Humble Bee farm.
Outside the Yurts
There is space for one vehicle outside your Yurt
There is an outdoor covered eating area including charcoal bbq, gas bbq and a picnic bench.
This outdoor shelter also has festoon lighting adding to the Yurt experience.
And not glamping holiday would be complete without a firepit: guests often say this is one of the best aspects of a stay here at Humble Bee.
All Yurts have access to a firepit: all guests need to do is order the firepit timber from our reception.
Guests can then relax around the campfire, toasting marshmallows and stargaze!
We have four yurts in total, each having circular windows and with excellent facilities including toilets and showers.
What to do onsite
Humble Bee Farm The Hive café bar which serves delicious breakfasts, tasty bakes, barista coffee, light bites and pizzas during peak times.
Don’t forget to bring your walking boots as we have three farm walks in which you can drink in the amazing views and listen to the birdsong.
Spot wildlife aplenty including owls, lapwings, deer, hare and more.
Our peaceful Reflection Garden is a quiet haven for guests to enjoy (near the main shower block).
We also have two facilities blocks including toilets, showers, a wash up area and there is an accessible family shower room in the main shower block.
Our onsite shop and reception area is open daily from 9am where you can purchase souvenirs, pick up local attraction leaflets, order pizzas (selected nights only), purchase Smores Kits, purchase firewood and stove packs, collect your Farmer Percy checklist and purchase local ice cream during the Summer.
