Winter Time at Humble Bee Farm
As the stars appear in the twilight, once you’ve checked in, your cabin awaits.
Our six berth Lodges and our four berth Running Water Deluxe cabins each have twinkling festive lights, garlands and decorations.
This will get you into the Christmas spirit from the start.
Our farm is surrounded by the Yorkshire Wolds and our very own fields.
We are also dog friendly in our cabins and cottages.

Festive Farmyard Gang at Humble Bee Farm
As a working farm, we love Christmas and yet our farm work never really stops, not even for Santa.
This year, book your accommodation with us and you can visit our Festive Farmyard Gang in our special barn.
Visit Tilly, our Shetland Pony, our resident donkey Jessica and Daisy, our guinea pigs and our friendly flock of sheep as they keep snug and warm while the Christmas magic happens.
They will be keeping watch over our very own magical Christmas Sleigh.
While inside the barn, you can also write your own letter to Santa using our special letter writing kits and you can even post your letter so it gets to the North Pole in time for Christmas Eve.

Our Hot Tub Glamping Experiences
Our Running Water Deluxe Cabins and Premium Lodges are fully insulated and heated for a warming winter retreat.
Each unit has its own private bubbly hot tub – bliss!
For the lodges all bedding and towels are provided.
For the deluxe cabins, then you’ll need to bring children’s bedding and all towels (one set of adult bedding is provided).
Affordable Glamping!
Our standard cabins are also an affordable alternative with mattresses, toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave provided.
We have fabulous communal facilities including showers, toilets, wash basins and a wash up area.

Luxury Cottages
We have three luxury holiday cottages on our working farm: Humble Bee, Merry Dale and Swallow’s Nest.
All take up to a family of four.
Each cottage offering two ensuite bedrooms, beautifully appointed kitchens, a dining area, lounge with log burner.
Merry Dale and Swallow’s Nest each have their own private hot tub and are single storey.
Humble Bee Cottage is a granary conversion with two floors (no hot tub).
Things To Do at Humble Bee Farm
The winter season is when our farm is even more special as the sun sets and the stars appear.
There’s a sense of peace, quiet and tranquillity as dusk descends.
We have our indoor Mini Bees Play Barn for our younger guests to use, and also our outdoor play area is perfect for some winter fun or a cold weather game of football.
We have the Farmyard Gang including our cheerful chucks who can lay an egg or two for our guests.
The pond is always a busy place with ducks quaking all day.
We’ve also got our group of cute guinea pigs, our retired donkeys and who can forget Tilly, our (stubborn) Shetland Pony who will be undercover in one of our barns.
Our farm is great for relaxation and rambles both short and long.
Car parking with your accommodation is provided too (no EV charging available at Humble Bee Farm, but we can advise where you can charge your vehicle).
The Hive café bar will be open at selected times during the festive period.
The resorts of Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington and Whitby are in easy reach.
