Humble Bee Farm is the place to be in 2025!
Every year we host a variety of onsite events, from Lambing to Giant Games in the Barn, from Easter to Bonfire Night and Christmas.
For 2025 we have improved some firm family favourites and we’re introducing some NEW events for guests too!
Here is an outline of some of the main events taking place at Humble Bee Farm, based in the Yorkshire Wolds, located halfway between the Yorkshire Coast resorts of Scarborough and Filey.
Valentine’s Weekends in February 2025: Friday 14th and Saturday 15th
Book a glamping getaway for the most romantic weekend of the year!
Our special Valentine’s glamping package includes a beautifully dressed accommodation which is yours for the duration of your stay.
Package price applies, additional to the standard tariff.
Romantic Valentines Package are available in our Premium Wigwam Lodge & Deluxe Wigwam, both with hot tubs.
Lambing Weekends
This event is available to those who stay with us and to those who want to join us just for the day.
For guests staying in our accommodation.
The onsite experience is free to attend if you book your holiday accommodation for the relevant dates subject to availability. Please arrive in time for 10am start, event is approx 60 mins long.
Please note: pregnant women not advised to enter the lambing area. No dogs allowed in the lambing barn, thank you.

Alpaca Adventures
If you book your holiday accommodation with us, meet our awesome alpacas include Belita, Olive and Clover, and take them for their very own walking adventure!

Mondays in the 6 Week Summer Holidays
Giant Games Night in the Barn – 4:30pm to 6:30pm during late July and throughout August 2025.
Prebook your slot for £5.00 per family.
Our supersize games include favourites such as snakes and ladders, draughts, skittles, tic tac toe, tin can table and dominoes.
Terrific Tuesdays
Terrific Tuesdays – Face painting and hair braiding – 4:30pm-6:30pm, ticket booking needed.
£5 for individual face paint booking (also inc glitter tattoo)
£7 for individual hair braiding (also inc glitter tattoo)
£10 for both
Tuesday’s treat include Paintastic! Face Paint Artist Shanice.
Shanice creates stunning and colourful face paint designs and trendy hair braids
Wednesdays
Alpaca Walks – 30 min walks with the first available time at 11:00am and the last available time at 2:30pm. 2 families per slot. £30 per family, please see details above.
Thursdays
Family Fun in the Barn – 5-6pm
This family fun time event includes a range of fabulous things such as balloon modelling, a magic show, family fun games and challenges, dancing and some lively background music. Every Thursday is different. Every Thursday during the summer holidays!

Join the Circus Sensation Sundays 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th August
Circus Skills York is bringing the big top to you!
Get ready to amaze and amaze yourself with our fun-filled drop-in session. Whether you’re a seasoned circus pro or a first-time twirler, our ringmasters will guide you through a world of wonder.
Spin plates, juggle dreams, strut your stuff on stilts, and twirl flower sticks like a pro!
It’s time to unleash your inner circus star!

Brilliant Bonfire Night at Humble Bee Farm 2025
Our annual Brilliant Bonfire Nights takes place on Saturday 8th November 2025, including the spectacular fireworks display we stage each year at this event.
Times: 5.30pm to 7pm, ticket price applies, available to guests staying onsite only – not open to the public.
Time to gather round the roaring bonfire, prepared by Farmer Percy, and watch our stunning fireworks display, making for a magical experience.
Enjoy food and drink in The Hive.
Open to guests who are booked into our accommodation.
TICKETS ARE AN ADDITIONAL COST AND ARE LAUNCHED EARLY 2025
We have a stunning bonfire which forms the focus of this family event and as a grand finale, Humble Bee Farm’s very own fireworks display, set on a hillside above the farm against the dark November skies
