Humble Bee Farm’s ‘Bucket List’

Humble Bee Farm is the family-run working farm which has its very own bucket list of things to do.

We offer camping, glamping and holiday cottages near Scarborough and Filey.

We offer a buzzing list of things to do which can be your bucket list in 2026!

Book your stay with us today!

Hire a Camp Fire

Fire pit

Whatever accommodation you’re staying in – luxury or standard cabins, bell tents, geodomes, camping, lodges and deluxe cabins with hot tubs or our holiday cottages – hire one of our fabulous firepits for the evening!

The hire price includes your very own fire pit, wood and firelighters – all you need to bring is a lighter or a box of matches.

There is nothing more enjoyable than gathering around a fire bowl at the end of a perfect day.

Smores Kits

We save you the hassle of remembering to bring all the items for a smores kit – you can purchase our own smores kits which include all the items you need, and some instructions if you’re a first-time user!

Meet the Animals

alpacas

As working farm, our very own Farmer Percy takes you on his feeding round at 9am every day.

Join Farmer Percy as he checks and feeds the farmyard gang: hens, donkeys, micropigs, alpacas, Tilly the Shetland Pony, sheep, guinea pigs and more.

Meet Tilly, Our Spirited Shetland Pony

Tilly

Tilly is a firm favourite of the farmyard gang.

Tilly is a Shetland Pony and has the temperament to match!
You can enquire at Humble Bee Farm’s reception and see if you can book a walking slot with her.

Enjoy Drinks and Food Prepared by our Team

pizza

Being on holiday means you can also take a break from meal preparation!

The Hive café bar is our onsite, takeaway food eaterie.

From robust breakfast butties to farm-themed burgers, hot drinks to cocktails, children and adults can order food and watch the farmyard gang as your food and drinks are freshly prepared while you wait.

Our pizza nights are often a sell-out: if there is a pizza night taking place during your stay with us, you will receive details about a week before.

So we can provide the best possible food to you, our pizza nights operate a pre-order service. This means you can relax once you’ve placed your order, as we often sell out.

Enjoy The Great Outdoors

Walks

Humble Bee Farm is surrounded by the Yorkshire Wolds, and we have three farm walks onsite.

Choose from a short, medium and a longer stroll, so there is something for everyone.

You can walk to Filey along the Yorkshire Wolds Way (be sure to arrange transport back to Humble Bee Farm) too.

Stargaze, Moon Watch and  Cloud Spot

stars

There is a saying, that the best things in life are free!

Well, here at Humble Bee Farm, once you’re here, there is plenty of free things to do and stargazing, moon watch and cloud spotting are all a must.

We are tucked away in a secret valley and above us there are huge skies.

The stars at night are spectacular and who knows, you might even see the Northern Lights!

The moon is a welcome night sky companion, and as we enjoy clear skies, you can see the moon in all her glory.

While you perhaps don’t always think about it, the clouds in the sky are always changing and always spectacular.
